Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (FSEOG) are for undergraduates with exceptional financial need. Pell Grant recipients with the lowest EFCs will be the first to get FSEOGs. Just like Federal Pell Grants, FSEOGs don't have to be paid back. Students are able to receive between $100 and $4, 000 a year, depending on when the student applies, financial need, and available funding.

Priority award consideration is given to students who receive Federal Pell grants and complete their FAFSA by ASU's priority filing date of March 1. FSEOG funds given to the school are limited, so there is no guarantee that every Pell Grant eligible student will receive an award. Please note that all awarded aid is based on full-time enrollment. If you receive an FSEOG award and you enroll for less than 12 regular credit hours, your award may be prorated. Printer-friendly version
If you are not eligible for the FSEOG grant, you might be eligible for the Pell Grant. This is another grant that does not have to be paid back. You can also read up on the Federal Stafford Loan Program.
