During the many weeks of recovery, the siblings learned of their parents' death, causing both to become withdrawn - only interacting with each other or their grandparents, who gained guardianship over them - along with the occasional mood swing. Other than physical therapy, it was deemed necessary for the siblings to receive psychological therapy as well, as nightmares began to plague them. The therapy was doing wonders, as the nightmares reduced to to the point where they rarely occurred but during one session, Franklin had a nasty mood swing, becoming quite irritable due to some of the questions being asked. The outburst that followed ended up triggering a bout of accidental magic in the process, causing the books lining a nearby shelf to fly into the opposite wall before he was able to be calmed. Surprisingly the therapist didn't run in fear at the sudden paranormal phenomenon but rather she got on the phone and called someone, leading to sound of a car backfiring echoing throughout the room and the sudden appearance of a new person adorned in robes.
