The Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) Exceptional Research Opportunities Program (EXROP) provides talented undergraduates with outstanding summer research experiences that encourage them to pursue careers in academic science. The students are selected to apply by HHMI professors and invited directors of HHMI-funded undergraduate programs at colleges and universities.
