" "Doing something like 'Good Riddance' was terrifying for me, to put myself out there and be that vulnerable, " he shares. For years, Green Day had trouble placing the track within their discography because of its different sound.

Last week I saw a post on Reddit. A company I highly respect and admire is hiring. Now the company usually isn't looking for Web developers (it's just not the kind of work they do) but sure enough, one of the positions is for a Web Developer. I got really excited, more so than before. I applied. Then doubt starts creeping in. I start looking at the interview questions that have been posted on Glassdoor, and my heart sinks. The questions posted are not related to my actual field, but they are really specific and not things you can easily Google the answers to. There are even comments from people who had been interviewed saying that the questions they had been asked were ridiculous and had very little to no relevance to the position they were applying for. Add to this that it is a dream job for a lot of people (along with pay of $100k - $150k) and I have lost all confidence in myself to be able to land this job. I'm really conflicted. I want to find a new job, I want to get paid more than what I make now.
